SAMUEL SHAM CHEE LEONG was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Maju Expressway Sdn Bhd (MESB) and MEX I Capital Berhad on 17th December 2021. He holds a BBA in Accounting and Management, and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Family Office Specialist (CFOS). Formerly, he was a director of 7 SPVs for full settlement of bonds, CEO of a Public Trustee, Credit Agent of delisted Public Listed Companies, and has experience in Structuring Asset Protection and Succession Planning.

Since 2010, he has served as the Managing Partner at Ficus Avenue PLT ( Malaysia) and as an Independent Director of Menara BBS Berhad. In 2013, he became the Managing Partner in Ficus Avenue LLC (Singapore).
